Letter to the Massachusetts State Boxing Commission, January 25, 1965
A letter to the Massachusetts State Boxing Commission from Gordon B. Davidson, an attorney for the Louisville Sponsoring Group, regarding a scheduled physical exam for Muhammad Ali in February of 1965. This physical exam was required by the Massachusetts State Boxing Commission after Ali underwent an emergency hernia repair operation in November of 1964, when he was originally scheduled to face Sonny Liston for a second time.
