Louisville Sponsoring Group Press Release, August 27, 1964
A press release written by the Louisville Sponsoring Group, Muhammad Ali's management team at the time, regarding the World Boxing Association's review of a contract made between them and Inter-Continental Promotions, Inc. The promotional group requested that they have the rights to promote Ali's first Title defense fight if he were to win against Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964, in order for the fight to happen.
