The United States Olympic Boxing team was made up of Humberto Barrera (flyweight), Jerry Armstrong (bantamweight), Nikos Spankos (featherweight), Harry Campbell (lightweight), Quincy Daniels (light-welterweight), Arthur Baldwin (welterweight), Wilbert McClure (light-middleweight), Eddie Crook (middleweight), Cassius Clay (light-heavyweight), and Percy Price (heavyweight). Jules Mendez was the team coach, and Ben Becker was the team manager.
With this line-up, the U.S. Boxing Team won three gold medals. Scoring for boxing saw a change at the 1960 Olympics. Where there had previously only been three judges, there were now five.
