Nathaniel Green Oral History Interview Audio
Collections Department interview with Nathaniel Green. Mr. Green learned to wrestle at the Presbyterian Community Center when he was a young man. His time there overlapped with Muhammad Ali's for a short time. This interview focuses largely on Mr. Green's knowledge and memories of Fred Stoner, Sr. who taught him how to wrestle, and Muhammad how to box. Mr. Stoner was also responsible for many of the other recreational activities at the center as he acted for many years as the Recreational Director.
