Note to Gordon B. Davidson, November 1964

A typewritten note to Gordon B. Davidson, an attorney for the Louisville Sponsoring Group, from Joel A. Kozol, another attorney. The note references a copy of an agreement that Muhammad Ali signed to allow the state of Massachusetts to withhold $50,000 of his purse from his rematch fight against Sonny Liston. The fight was originally scheduled for November 16, 1964, but was postponed when Ali underwent an emergency hernia repair operation.
