The letter was in regard to rumors that Muhammad Ali's fight againts Floyd Patterson would be moved from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Houston, Texas. The letter also addressed concerns surrounding a lawsuit that was filed by Ernie Terrell against Muhammad Ali, the Louisville Sponsoring Group, SportsVision, Inc., and Inter-Continental Promotions, Inc.
